FRENCH SAGEM INVESTS IN THE ZONE DONJE MEDJUROVO TOO

French company Sagem decided that builds factories  in Serbia in work zone Donje Medjurovo, on the territory of City Municipality of Palilula in Nis, and its should to employ in first phase of work about 200 workers. It will be third big investment, after Jura and Ditex, on this area of Palilula. During conversation of representatives of Sagem and City of Nis, it is confirmed that will investment of French producer of electrical and communicative equipment of high technology be realized during the year 2011. Representatives of Sagem it says in announcement of informative service of mayor of Nis, will until the end of this year decide will planed business activities be realized as Greenfield investment, and construction of new plant or “brownfield” or buying and adaptation of existing hall. Investment of French Sagem will be realized in two phases, and specifies that in first phase will be equipped object surface from 3.000 to 4.000 m2 where it will be employed until 200 employees. During second phase will start production on 10.000 m2 where it will work until 500 employees. Next step of Sagem will be negotiations with Government of Republic of Serbia on the allocation of subsidies for the implementation of this investments, according to the press release.

Representatives of French company Sagem in Nis stays in Nis from Monday, November 8th. Otherwise, Government of Republic of Serbia and City of Nis signed in the end of March this year with company Sagem protocol of cooperation which should provide opening of factory for producing electricity meters of French company in Nis Electronic industry. Protocol it is not still realized, and main barrier it was tender for the replacement of electrical meters that it is not still announced in Serbia. Last month Nis visited representatives of Sagem, that according to the announcements from the Cabinet of mayor, now interested for building of factory for set-up boxes for digital TV.
